The Reality of Production Elements
In class this week we will be looking at three different reality television shows and discussing their similarity in terms of production elements. Below are the clip selections we will be using:
I love the way they use camera angles and zooming in and out to give the feeling to these reality episodes, that the audience is really there and an active participant. It also doesn't hurt snapple for the camera to show the characters in the background with the camera "looking over the shoulder" of the snapple bottle... nothing like product placement!
