  1. Apple has a knack for making incredibly slick looking products. I haven't even looked at any of the specs of the iPad. I have no idea what it can actually do yet but just looking at pictures of it I want one. Apple sells style more than they do electronics.

  2. It looks like a gigantic iPod Touch to me!
The price isn't extraordinarily high (cheapest one is $500)...but I'd like to play with one and see if it's worth it first! Or at least wait until the second generation comes out. That way they work some of the kinks out first.

  3. Yeah as much as i love apple, I think it's gonna be hard to really make this a big seller. I think it's gonna appeal to people with lots of money and who already have lots of apple products. I don't think it's gonna appeal to people who are looking to buy their first piece from apple ... because your better off buying an iphone or macbook. This piece falls in the middle which is gonna make it a hard sell.

  5. The ipad has the potential to be the greatest technological advancement in education since the calculator. Imagine never having to buy or sell a textbook ever again. You can either buy or rent them like songs off iTunes, download them to your ipad, and have clean easy access to the information at all times with imbedded video tutorials and links to interactive media via the web. Students would end up saving a lot of money over the years from this
